Waking Up in the night and early mornings

Hi,
My 7 months old son suddenly keeps waking up in the night. His sleeping was fine until recently. Since he can turn onto his tummy he keeps waking himself up because he gets stuck in his bed and starts crying. If you turn him back on his back again he will fall asleep immediately again. Any ideas how I can stop him from turning on his tummy????

The other problem is that he thinks that 5am is time to get up. I tried controlled crying but it doesn?t work. Any ideas how I get him to sleep until at least 6am????

He will learn how to roll back onto his back soon. You can try changing his nappy in the night (before you go to bed?) so it's not so cold and wet when he wakes up at 5am.
