anyone please please help me with my 7 month old. i cant cope much more!

Firstly i apologise as i have to run off in a min to deal with ds1 who has bad chicken pox so trying to post very quickly

please read my 4th comment as i dont have the time to re type it. I really need help and im considering getting a professional in to help me as i have nightmare getting ds2 to sleep and ds1 makes it even harder

It sounds to me like you have a baby who is not "regular" and trying to fit a schedule is just going to drive you demented. DS never woke or went to sleep at the same time, so he had a routine rather than schedule. Have you heard of the 2-3-4 routine? (I think it's babywhisperer but could be mistaken). First nap is 2 hours after waking, second nap is 3 hours after waking and bed is 4 hours after waking. Never worked for DS (he'd often nap 4-5pm then go to bed at 6/6:30pm), but a lot of people swear by it.

havent heard of that....although MAY work as he does tend to sleep 2.5 hours ish after waking up....most days! He is getting better at falling asleep by himself not though just have to go in a few times to reassure/give dummyy or unwrap him from his muslin! He does cry. This am woke at 6.30, fell asleep 9.30 (because had to take ds1 to preschool) but slept 3/4 hours most. Has gone down just after 12.30 which means about 2.5 hours after waking the last tme...if he only sleeps 3/4 hours again he wont nap again today...but as ds1 at preschool he be in bed earlier today so hoping it be ok. ALTHOUGH ds2 now has chicken pox!! So im sure it'll all go out the window!

I cant work out why one week he'll sleep 2 hours then another week only 45 mins?? Today is obv different as hes getting ill
