6 month old waking in the night EVERY night for dummy....sooo tired

The title says it all. Usually about 2am. I go in put her dummy in and she usually goes straight back to sleep, while I lie there trying to get a few more hours in before the DS's wake up.
Leaving her to cry is not an option, as I don't want to wake up the DS's and I think she would just get hysterical eventually.
I just don't know what to do....there has to be answer! I wouldn't mind so much if she was waking for a feed, but she isn't hungry.
Ds1 had a dummy and once he was asleep, that was it, I never had this problem with him. Please help, or someone tell me it will get better one day!

I used to have a similar problem and found that by leaving several in the cot, she would find one herself. She used to sleep with one in each hand and a couple around near her head and this solved the problem.

Thanks... the problem is she still likes to be swaddled, so her arms aren't free to reach out for spare dummies.
I find if I don't swaddle her she struggles to settle.

6 month growth spurt? Have you tried giving her some milk then?

She has been doing this for months now, so I don't think it's a growth spurt. She would probably feed if I tried to feed her, but I don't want to get back into a habit of night feeding again, now its stopped. I think if she was hungry she would not be satisfied by her dummy..

I think once a night would be great, my 6 month old wakes at least 3 times a night!

Could you clip one to her grobag? Obviously NOT on a string or anything she might get tangled up in.

My 11 week old lso wakes a few times in the night for a dummy. Definately not hungry. Goes straight back to sleep once he has dummy.. I've been hoping he'll grow out of it.

Have you seen the thread on here about the Sleepytot comforter? It honestly was the answer for us and many others so it seems.

But you might have to stop swaddling... so maybe not.
