He used to sleep 8 til 7 regularly but since last week, he has been waking up at 4am as if its time to get up. He is full of beans and comes running through to our bed but is not interested in sleep. He wants to play. I have tried putting him back in bed (about 20 times last night). It didn't work. I have tried bringing him into our bed-party time. I have tried lying in his bed with him but he just thinks its a game. Help! I did just read another thread that mentioned rewarding for sleeping the whole night which I could do if he stayed in his bed!
Oh, and yes, he has blackout blinds etc in his room. Do they have a growth spurt or is there some biological reason for this? Anyone?
