Would really love some advice with helping me get dd to sleep by herself. She is 21 months, and currently I bf her to sleep on the sofabed. She doesn't usually go to bed till quite late - about 10pm and sometimes as late as midnight. She then, almost always, sleeps through the night (only since Jan has this happened).
A month ago I went back to work full-time and she started nursery full-time. We were both there part-time beforehand. She has a full, busy day, but just doesn't seem to need all that much sleep.
Now, I would very much like her to learn to go to sleep by herself (without bf) and in her own bed. But I have no real idea of where to start!?
At nursery the staff lie her down and rub her back. Occasionally she will finish her bf and cuddle up to me and go to sleep, but that is very much the exception rather than the rule.
I would be so grateful for any advice or tips as to what I could do.....? Would sooo love to get back to my own bed! And to dh too of course!!
