my 1 year old wont sleep in her cot

can any 1 help me, my 1 year old wont sleep in her cot she screms the place down as soon as i put her in i just dont know wat 2 do

Has she ever slept in her cot or is this a new development?

have you tried pick up put down

iir you keep going on pick her up give her a cuddle and say night tiem and then put her down
keep going until eventually she falls asleep

Pick up put down is good, I've had great success with my 4 month old, but I think it could be very hard going with a bigger heavier 1yr old...

Is there anywhere else that your little girl will sleep happily if this is just a phase? Buggy/your bed for example?

If this is not a new thing and you've been struggling on for a year I really feel for you. She's old enough to try a bit of controlled crying if you're ok with that. There's quite strong opinion against CC but also others who swear it's worked for them within days... worth an archive search on here to see what you can find.

Is she going through separation anxiety?
