dd, 2,8, has never been a great sleeped but has been going from 7ish till about 5.30 6 only waking occasionally for the last few months. however, since we came back from a holiday 2 weeks ago, she has been waking at 11 pm, give or take a few mins, every night. she takes anything uo to an hour to resettle.
I cant work out why or whether this is a pattern that she has now got herself inot. it is driving me mad, having to get up every single night, several times, and i'm now suffering from spd so it's worse!
I have checked no alarms are going off, dd tells me it's noisy - one night a car, a couple of times an owl and a motorbike but i hear nothing.

any suggestions on how i can break this cycle before I crack?

Sorry, should've said that my Dd is now 28 months and didn't sleep through until I tried this at 19mos. It takes a little discipline and determination, but it really did the job for me. Hth.

I have empathy for you, I went through the same thing. You can only try this although it works better IMO if they are 'only' waking two or three times a night. It was brilliant though and really does require a whole week before risking leaving them to it. If you haven't done so already, read the whole link as there is lots of support and tips and encouragement on there.

wanted to add amessage of support, as my ds is doing the same thing - woke 3 times last night, full on screaming, and still thought he deserved a sticker in the morning.
