Ok so DS1 went to bed an hour earlier than normal....please tell me that this doesn't mean he will get up an hour earlier tomorrow???

He was absolutely exhausted so, when we went upstairs for bathtime, he ended up in bed asleep and would not be woken - he is 2.9.

Have left him but am dreading an early start tomorrow....is this likely to be the case? He gets up just after 6am normally so I shudder at the thought of a 5am start!!

Although I have to say, me and DH had a lovely bathtime with DS2 (5 months) - very peaceful and calm for a change

It never works the other way around when they go to bed an hour later, but i'm afraid my two always seem to get up earlier when they go to bed later - just pretend you cant hear him at 5am, thats what I try to do!!

Bugger..not the answer I wanted

I wish I could pretend I didn't hear him but he comes in our bedroom, climbs into our bed and fidgets like mad!! And then when that gets boring, he goes and wakes up his baby brother!!

I find that if ds (2.6 years) goes to bed a bit earlier he just has extra sleep and may even wake later than if he goes to bed late. The other night he was in bed for 7.05pm and he never woke (or we never heard him) till after 7am the next day.
