my 7 month old has gone from a pretty decent pattern of getting up every 3/4 hours to getting up nearly every hour sometimes more frequent and wanting his bottle, tried settling him with dummy but he refuses to take it wont settle back down until he has his bottle. he sleeps with me and as i dont get much help from partner am absolutly shattered, dont know how to control this new habbit and do end up giving him the bottle as i'm so tired plus he has exzma so dont like to distress him to much to cause a flare up. been going on like this for about a week.
any advice much apreciated.

Is he hungry? How are his solids going? Is he drinking enough milk during the day?

he seems to have enough solids he'l have cereal for breki, den milk, lunch potatos or veg,ay has three feeds of milk during the 8 ounces in each feed. not sure what the problem is.

Ok, so it doesn't sound like a food issue... is he teething? If so, the milk may be providing comfort. Or maybe thirsty, in which case you could try offering water during the day? It may take him a while to get used to it, though. Or may be growing? In which case, it'll just pass and you won't have to do anything.

Not being much help, sorry! I know how horrible the exhaustion is, I've been there myself, so you have my complete sympathy. Just remember you are not alone- parents all over the country are awake throughout the night wishing they weren't! Can you catch up on sleep in the evenings/ weekends/ day times- I know it's really boring but even a bit of sleep can make a big difference at these times. In the meantime, try to look after yourself is my best advice... lots of fruit and veg for you my love!
