Has anyone ever managed to get their early rising dc to sleep for longer?

Ds is 14 months and has got a lot better with his sleep, but I cannot get him to sleep past 5. He wakes up and wants to bf,but not to go back to sleep. His current favourite thing is to bf while playing with my mobile....I need more sleep - any suggestions?

He goes to bed at 7. He has a nap of 1-2hours during the day. At the moment he is in his own room. We have a dd too - but because he is such a light sleeper she is sleeping in our room. He was in our room up until he was one, but would wake up when we came to bed. Have you had a dc that was an early riser?

Doesn't make any difference how late he goes tbh. His room is as black as it can be - blackout blind and tape! I can't sleep with him - have tried that and I just can't sleep. Dp wants me to stop bf but I don't think that will help
