our once 7am DS has, over last couple of weeks, been waking from 5am! agh! he has had a tooth through, had conjunctivitis, cold and cough ... most of which has come (in case of tooth) and gone (for the others).
is it really getting that much lighter in the mornings yet? but it is still dark when he wakes!
anyone else experiencing the same at the moment?

Our almost 3 year old is not only waking at 5am but crawling into bed with us as well! All fine and well if he didn't wriggle for an hour and then just as we're beginning to think we should just get up, all 3 of us fall fast asleep and end up almost sleeping in!

It'll be better when the clocks go forward

DD is nearly 3 and has been waking at about 5.30 for the last 2 weeks. Big shock for us as she used to stay in bed til at least 7.30 or until we got her up. Am thinking it is just her growing up and realising she can get up when she wants and is enjoying asserting her independance! It's hard though as she gets back into bed when we tell her to only to try it again 2 mins later! Anyone got any tips?
PS dreading the mornings getting lighter!

Get one of these

Our mornings have improved from 5.30 am to 7.15 (or a bit later on weekends!) Introduce it with a star chart and start gradually - increase it by 10 or 15 minutes a day.

Good luck!
