Just wondering if Im the only one who seems to hardly get any sleep! Have Ds1 aged 4, DD aged 2 almost 3 and 7 month old Ds2. Dream fed Ds at 12 as Id been round friends, he then woke twice between then and 8 which wasnt too bad BUT Dd woke me 4 times for no reason other that I WANT A BOTT BOTT (I know she shouldnt have them now but after not letting her have one all day the sleep deprived me gave in thinking it would help, duh! Also wanted to keep her quiet as she sleeps in same room as Ds1) Ds1 woke once with a temperature which is fair enough.
How can I get my children to sleep better if ttheres nothing wrong??? Hesitant to let ds2 ccry as dont want to wake the other 2 next ddoor. He eats 3 meals and snacks is breatfed but also has 2 6oz (or more) bottles at bedtime and dreamfeed How do we survive on so little sleep!Xx

don't worry about the crying waking the others -it may do to start with but after a couple of days they'll ignore it and go back to sleep

sympathies!! my 2 still don't sleep well and they are a lot older than yours!

I find I eat more/snack on rubbish when I'm tired and I get/am very emotional! hey ho!

its a bloody nightmare, nothing I have tried works...........

TrinityRhino · 14/02/2009 08:09

sorry I have no idea

FAQ, I found it always wakes the other one, I guess it just depends if they are deep sleepers ot not

whyme2 · 14/02/2009 08:11

oh, I wish I had the answer, have had very broken nights this week. trying to persuade Ds age 2 to stay in his own bed for more than 2 hours whilst continually bf dd aged 25 months and reasurring dd1 age 5 that her dreams are not real. aargh. I could fall alseep standing up. Zzzz

FAQinglovely · 14/02/2009 08:12

well yes - DS2 still wakes up when DS3 wakes up and makes noise - but now he just scowls, rolls over and goes back to sleep.

They do adapt very quickly though and while they are woken up, they don't actually "wake" up (iykwim)

whyme2 · 14/02/2009 08:12

actually dd is 25 weeks, doh!
so tired.

whyme2 · 14/02/2009 08:13
