Hi all, am new here and really hope you can help. For the past eleven nights my little girl, aged 18months has been awful to settle at night. Am six months pregnant and finding it v difficult. She won't even let me put her in her cot without going hysterical. She may be teething but have given calpol etc but i end up staying with her for two hours until she settles (have to let her go to sleep on me then put her down, then seh wakes up, starts screaming etc. Normally she goes third time of putting down but am so tired. She won't have hubbie only me. Can't leave door open as we have cats. Any suggestions? an desperate! tia x

hi 99redballoons. Haven't logged on for a while so sorry not to have replied. I'm in Higbury so not that close to you but close enough to meet up at some point! I work four days a week at the moment - Fridays off - so you name the day and If you are up for it then so am I!

Icedbun - I'm from Bristol and two of my sisters live there (Both with children) so we may still get to meet! My mum lives in Chippenham so we are down there a lot. lol at the doll being chucked at you by the way. Dd always chucked hers at me until recently. Hope things are better!

Hi ragtaglle, there's several N London meetups so I'm sure we'll cross paths too!
You won't believe this but I'm from near Bristol too. My parents live near Stroud and work in Bristol. I worked for them when I left Uni and lived in Bristol (Redland area) for a couple of years..(a long time ago now!) It seems to have changed alot but is still the same iykwim!

Just a quick update, ds has been a complete angel the last few days. He says 'mummy go' so I do and he plays/sings about in his bed for about 5-10mins and then drops off all by himself! I just can't believe it. He's come on such a long way. I'm so glad we persevered with the big bed.

Hope things have improved for you, icedbun. x
