To leave sleep or not to leave to sleep?

DD has a bad cold and seemingly a virus. She hasn't slept properly since Saturday, has been up several times a night and not wanting to go back down. She has also not napped properly during the day, including today when she slept for about half an hour. As you can imagine we are all knackered. I came home from work early to give DH a break, he went to sleep and I looked after DD. She was knackered but I thought she could hold out till bedtime but she couldn't, so I put her down about 5.30. She barely protested and is out for the count. She hasn't had much to eat or drink. She doesn't usually go to bed till 7.30. So the question is, do I leave her now or wake her up in a bit and keep her up in the hope that she'll sleep better later tonight? If I leave her she might wake up early in the morning and be up for good.

I know you can't predict her behaviour (can you?! Please!) but any advice on whether to wake her or not? We all need a good night sleep and I am off out for a work do in a minute. It'll be no drinking for me if I'm being woken up several times in the night
