I've got a 2 1/2 year old and a 9 month old and they are both starting to wake in the early hours. DS1 has always been bad at sleeping but we have sorted it using gradual withdrawl and he used to go 7 till 7. It is now 8 till 5 and he is being an absolute horror. DS2 is OK but will only settle after 4am with regular breastfeeds. I'm tackling DS1's bedtime but can't sort the mornings without disturbing DS2.

Anyone got any ideas!

Thanks

Lori

Are they in the same room? My ds 13 months wakes at anything from 4.30/5 and won't go back to sleep - he just want to be bf but not sleep. We have ended up putting dd (4) in our room as she sleeps pretty well. I get up and take ds into the front room as lie on the sofa bed and try and dose off - no tips, just to let you know you are not alone at 4.30am aaaaaaaaaargh

No they are not in the same room but DS1 waking (and shouting and crying!) disturbs DS2 so that he won't settle back. Don't you just love early mornings - not!
