Anyone ever paid for a sleep trainer type person to come into the home and help them?

After a good start with pick up put down yesterday just had a nighmare with DD for her morning nap (1hr30 mins and still not asleep so ended up getting her up).

Starting to get really upset about the whole thing. I think I've read on here about people who've hired sleep counsellors to come into their home and do the sleep training for you [passing the buck emoticon]

Anyone ever done this? Any success stories/tales of horror?

Thanks.

THanks anyway, she's 5 months.

Feeling slightly happier, put her down for a nap this afternoon and it only took 10 minutes this time and she's been asleep for an hour and a half, which is unheard of for her.

Just going to have to persevere with PU/PD I think.

Thanks Marla. I had put it down to the 4 month growth spurt but it's been a month now, so feel I have to tackle it.

Just wanted to give you a bit of support.... Do stick with the PU/PD chancelloroftheexCHEQUERS... it really does work if you stick with it. But you'll have to keep reminding yourself of this over and over again cos it is so tempting to give up and give them a lovely cuddle.

But it is soooooooooo worth it.

Thanks Kat.

I've done my two days and seen some amazing results.

It's DH's turn today, bit worried about his commitment but I've told him it's this or else!
