Any suggestions to why my 2 and a half year old dd is still waking in the night?

DD1 will be 3 in May. So far she has never slept through the night. We now have 8 week old dd2 and I am finding juggling both of them at night difficult and DH is totally exhausted. Anyone have experience of this and how was it resolved?

Well I hate to say this but Ahem I have a 4 year old an a 7 year old that still wake in the night for no reason. They go back to sleep immediatley but its still broken sleep for me.
I hope it improves for you but you may have to wait a while yet.
There was a thread a while back about going in to disturb them around a certain time to rearrange their sleep pattern but hasnt worked for me and fortunatley for me its not every night but most.

Thanks Tidgypuds. You have my sympathies. How I laugh when people ask me if our 8 week old is sleeping the night yet! If they only knew.
