Can't cope with sleepless nights, nothing to do with dc's - just me

I haven't had a good nights sleep since before new years eve. I'm run down and have a sty and quite frankly am fed up. I resorted to Nitol about a week ago, but still I'm getting about 3 hours a night. My dc's are primary age, so nothing to do with them and although dh snores, he's been away and still I was awake.

Any coping strategies, ideas?

I did Nytol & Horlicks - knocked me right out
Question though is why? Are you worried or upset about something? Were you 'missing' DH (I have trouble sleeping if DH isn't home)

I am watching with interest.
I am being woken a few nights a week by toddler, but the rest of the time is no better tbh, between my mind whiring and dh snoring his bloody head off and various colds we have all had.
Am thouroughly worn out/down and could cry.
I have been using piriton, an antihistamine like in Nytol, but to little avail.

I find having the room really dark, putting on the electric blanket (guilty pleasure) and having Radio 4 droning on in the background sends me right off.

Failing that, I will actually stop fighting it and get up. I find I'm not so tired if I just give up and go downstairs and watch telly.

No reason in fact apart from tiredness I'm in a good place at the moment, dh is away a few nights a week and I'm used to that. I think my body clock was out of sync with late nights and late mornings during the school hols. Can't get it back .
