My Ds, 14mo got himself to sleep in his cot for the first time. He just lay down, I stood back and he rolled around a bit until he fell asleep.

We are talking about the boy that was attached to my breast for the first 3 months of his life, and used to take 2 hours of screaming to get to sleep. It's a miracle!

Hope it lasts, but not holding my breath...

Wow, really hope this is the start of some proper rest for you! 14mths is a looooong time as I'm sure you know! My fingers and toes are crossed for you too!

Thanks. 14 months has indeed been a long time!! It's taken so much work, I'm just so delighted that he's feeling more settled and happier at night.
