9 month old in grow bags

my 9 month old dd has decided that screaming like mad in her cot at night is an excellant pass time. she has just learnt to sit her self up and crawl. she has been a good sleeper from about 7 months after i practiced control crying for a few nights. i think that it might be that she is wearing a grow bag and they are restricting her movements in the cot. do you think that i should stop using grow bags. or is there any other advise on how to settle her when all she does is sit up and scream as soon as i leave the room. when she could not get up sheused to just cry herself to sleep for a few mins

Bumping for you.

I think this isn't unusual when they start to be able to get up/be more mobile, whatever the bedding.

have you tried thicker sleep suits instead? tesco etc do fleece ones - they allow movement and sitting and standing etc.

my DD hates grobags with a passion, but sleeps well in sleepsuits. they can get restrictive once they become mobile, i think

I hate to say it but .. its probably just a phase as she gets used to the fact that she can sit up and move around. You will probably be grateful for the grobag limiting her movement a bit when she is standing and trying to crawl etc. Personally I would leave her in it as long as possible. I left ds in his until he moved into a bed .. it helped prevent him from climbing out of the cot.
