DS is 15 months and keeps waking at 5ish, I have tried chaning his day time naps but doesn't seem to help. How much does your 15 month old sleep in the day and any advice on the 5am starts is greatly appreciated!

At this age, DD would have one nap after lunch (12.30 to about 2ish)
She'd sometimes wake at 5ish but would fall back to sleep again after talking to herself for a bit

My dd is nearly 14 months. She has erratic nap times, but a general pattern is that she has an hour (ish) at around 1pm. Since the clock change she has woken up pretty early - 6am as a general rule, although today it was 5.40am. Nap times and bed times seem to have no effect on her wake time.

She went through a phase of waking up at bang on 5.15am a few months ago and I tried out the 'wake to sleep' theory. After a week of it it did seem to work, and at that point we had a couple of months of 6.30ish wakes (which is reasonable for me).
If tomorrow is another pre-6am wake up, then I will try again with the 'wake to sleep' plan, and see if it works again or if it was just a coincidence last time.

Some babies are just early risers! DS is now 17 mths and his wake times now vary between 5.30 and 7am. Like Rubies, there doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason as to when he'll wake.

You may find his wake times get later as he gets older as I certainly have. Or not. Notoriously fickle these little people.

Rubles even, apologies for mis-spell!

dd is 15m too

if she wakes before 6am I stagger in and feed her and usually manage to get her back to sleep.

She has two naps - mid morning and midafternoon - of anything from 20 to 90 min.
