... DS has been napping so badly lately. We have been working really hard on a NCSS solution for 2 weeks now and he finally gets over his 45minute fiasco today (IYKWIM) and gets a good lunch-time nap going and some stupid twat person lets their dog go mental in the street outside our house and it wakes him!!!

Grrrrrr.

I mean, I wouldn't mind as its usually my own dog that wakes him but I packed him off to work with DH today so he wouldn't be a nuisance, and I was sitting in the living room with the telly off, MN'ing as quietly as possible and was so pleased he had made it through the 1 hour mark.

Oh God... I totally understand how you feel. DD's sleep has generally been up the spout for the last couple of weeks and I have a guy coming round to install Sky+ today and I'm just hoping he arrives when she's awake... If not he shall be made to tiptoe and whisper like everyone else!

I hope you have better luck today

Oh sweetie, to hear your naps are bad. You were my inspiration with the alltime good sleeper. What do you think has done it? The move to cot?

Not sure... It started off with the clock change but I think it could also be the cold or a growth spurt... Who can say... We did have a good nights sleep last night though (I decided to put an extra blanket over her, tightly tucked in) so fingers crossed we may be back on track!

Extra blanket - and you were worried about her being cold too. Looks like that might have been it. Or it could just be she likes the snug feeling of a blanket over her. Apparently I was v. like that as a child.

PS have just had to resort to walking for 1.5hrs in woods to get DS to sleep!! have not had to do that since he was 4.5m old! At least I burnt some calories.
