DD getting upset to the point of hysterical

So, dd has never been a great sleeper, but I thought we'd got halfway there in that at least she was starting the night in her cot.

But now she is resisting. Again. I'm happy to let her cry a little, but she is getting so upset that I can't calm her down in her room, and am having to bring her out to calm her. Of course then when I start to go back into her room, she shakes her head and starts screaaming again.

Any advice? Anyone??

is she going to bed too late?

babies wind up not down when they are over tired

have you got any sort of bedtime routine/comfort toy etc

I think that might have been the problem last night. It's my fault, she used to go down easier if she was completely knackered, but it seems counter productive now.

It's always something!

there is a fine line with toddlers i think

once they tip over into over tiredness they can be a nightmare

try an ealier bedtime and am sure that will help

Does anyone have any more advice for me??
