He's 25 weeks, so old enough to flip over and get himself out of difficulties (no?) so I'm not so worried about that side of it (although finding it hard to relax about him sleeping on tummy now) but the problem is that he is turning onto tummy in his sleep and then not turning his head to one side. Sort of drills his face into the mattress. This wakes him up (thank god!) and it's almost impossible then to persuade him back to sleep on back, side or tummy. Only way to get him back to sleep is BF - he gets distraught very fast to find himself face-down, as you would. Has been doing it for a couple of weeks.
Any advice? Is he going to work out how to turn his head eventually?
