I've been doing disappearing chair for ds1 who is 2.6 and it worked well until I tried to disappear. As soon as I moved the chair out of sight he started messing about and running out the door again. I've had to 'appear' again in the doorway!
I don't think I understand this chair business. Has anyone done it successfully?
