My DS (2.2) has been sleeping fairly well for the past few weeks, but this week has suddenly decided he wants to sleep with us! He's slept in our bed on the odd time he's been poorly and we often bring him in with us in the morning for a cuddle and a story. Last night he went down at 7.30 and we didn't hear a peep from him until 9.15 when he started stirring and then worked himself up into a real state, crying and calling for us. Trying to comfort him seemed to make him worse and he just kept pointing at our bedroom door and saying "mummy daddy" which means our bed. It took 2 hours to calm him down (which did involve a cuddle in our bed). We don't want to get into the habit of having him in with us and worried that because we gave in for a short time last night we've made a rod for our own backs. Am hoping that someone out there has had the same problem and successfully overcome it!!
