At last, dd, 27 months went to sleep tonight without me being in the room. Just wanted to share!

Honestly, don't really know why I am writing this apart from my need to share - DH at work. Since DD went into a cot (3 months ago) I haven't been able to leave her to go to sleep on her own. Sometimes I have been in there nearly an hour and it has been driving me mad.

AS the NCSS suggested I have been popping out to find where the "fairy left the sleepy dust" for the past week and tonight I got a bit distracted by MN, just remembered her, went in to check and she is FAST ASLEEP. Hurrah.

It might be a one off so trying not to get too excited.

Thank you, have enjoyed my evening so much more. Off to bed now as I am sure she will still be up at 5.

Shreddies - I hope you get some success soon, it is so utterly draining.
