Can you use a grobag in a big bed?

Do any of your kids wear a grobag (or similar sleeping bag) when they are sleeping in a big bed, and are no longer in their cot? I'm just wondering because ds is about to make the cot-to-bed transition and I'd like to keep him in the grobag. Thanks, Lorien

We did to start with (but then DS can walk in his, and could even climb out of his cot in it) so that the transition wasn't too dramatic. Now we've switched him to a duvet, and he seems quite happy with that. In the cot he'd always end up getting rid of blankets etc because he was permanently trying to escape as soon as he woke (he never would go to sleep in the cot on his own - we always hed to let him fall asleep on our bed and then move him), so a grobag was a perfect solution for him. In the bed he seems a lot happier and will fall asleep on his own, and stay snuggled under his duvet without thowing it off, so the need for the grobag has gone.
