That sounds like a lot of overnight sleep with a nap if she was previously going down from 7pm-9am. Just checking you don’t mean 9pm-7am? Could it be that she needs a later bedtime/shorter daytime nap?

That awake-for-hours-in-the-middle-of-the-night thing is such a rough phase, and it's even harder when it comes out of nowhere like that. Ours did exactly this around 22 months too. What finally fixed it for us was capping the nap instead of dropping it — we let him sleep but woke him up after about 45 minutes and kept bedtime where it was, and the split nights stopped within a week or so. Dropping the nap completely at this age can backfire because overtiredness makes the night wakings worse. Hang in there, the 2am playtimes really are temporary even if it doesn't feel like it at the time.

Do you mean she was sleeping 7pm-9am before? that is wild if so. Their sleep needs are continually dropping so she probably needs less sleep overall. That's young to not nap, is she coping ok in the afternoon?
