My little girl is 21 weeks today, she started sleeping through the night about a week ago. I think its too early to say that this will continue but we have only had one broken nights sleep in the last 7 nights.

However, I feel terrible.

I am much more tired than when she was waking at midnight, 2, 4, 6 etc.

She now goes to sleep at 7, we dream feed her at 10pm ish and then she wakes around 545/6am. Surely I should feel brilliant?

Yesterday my husband had a day off work and got up with her at 6 and I slept in until 8am but I dont understand why I feel so tired/run down and lethargic.

Is it "normal" to feel worse, and will this pass?!

I cant believe that i am complaining about her sleeping through, waited a long time for this!

Yes, normal. Your body is catching up.

Also, are you bfing? If the number of feeds have gone down you might have had a hormone change.

Hi, I stopped breast feeding about 3 or 4 weeks ago, fully bottles now.

Maybe that has something to do with it?

Even had a dream last night that I went to the doctors and was given something for tiredness

I realise there are many mums out there who are much more tired than me, I can still function (JUST) but wondering why I feel rotten

Get as much sleep as you can. Stopping bfing may well have an additional effect, so be kind to yourself . Go to your GP is it doesn't get better in a week or so - you may be anaemic or something.

Ah you've just made me think, my period re started 2 weeks back, had forgotten that - suppose there is a lot going on hormonally!
