Duvet or blanket instead of grobag

Anyone advise when their dc went from grobags to duvets/blankets?

DD1 used a duvet from 12 months, DD2 had it from about 14 months. I changed them both over whent he weather was warmish so it didn't matter so much if they kicked it off and couldn't it back on again.

DS3 was still in his grobag up to the age of 3!
