10 month old banging her head on the side of the cot , waking up screaming - any advice?

My 10 month old daughter keeps moving around the cot in her sleep, ends up banding her head on the side or end, and ends up screaming for us to move her into a more comfortable position. Last night this happened 7 times - until last week she slept through the night and has always been a good sleeper. Does anyone have any advice?

No advice but my 12 mth old does the same. She is very long and shuffles around a fair bit, ending up side ways in her cot also banging her head.

I would have suggested a cot bumper but if your wee lady is the same as mine this won't make much differnce. Starting to wish I had invested in a cotbed so she had more room.

We have a cot bed and it makes no difference! I'm hoping that she'll grow out of it. Let me know if you find a solution. I was thinking about a cot bumper, but i'm not totally convinced that they are safe. My daughter would probably wriggle underneath it!

I lie stuffed animals on their sides round the edge of the cot - in my mind they;re less dangerous than a bumper as dd could chuck them out of the way rather than get stuck under them as they're not tied down.
