am I right in thinking it's 10lb before baby can go into a sleeping bag at night?

also what age is swaddling ok until? I think I read 12 weeks but I've no idea why there should be a cut off

i am sure the one I had for ds2 was 7lb. he went in it from 4wks. don't know if this was recommended though, just what I did.
