do all babies regress with their sleeping at this age and why? And does it get better?

I don''t know mine were always much better by 4 months!

I don't know why but four months seems to be a classic growth spurt time and they wake up a lot more, presumably hungrier.

I am their now with dd and it's like we have gone back to newborn

MrsCarrot · 22/05/2008 21:48

all three of mine have done it and it does settle down

Between 4 and 6m DD was at her worst. I BF exclusively and she hit a plateau weight wise. They are growing fast and their little bodies are gearing up to needing more food. Once fully weaned (about 10m having started at 6) she calmed down and now sleeps better than any of her peers. I feel we are making up for it now

i am fending off the rumbles of ff from dp and others

DS got worse too. We blamed everything from growth to teeth to not liking being moved from moses basket to cot... Whatever it was, he's becoming much more sorted now at 7m (just taken to solid food although that might be coincidence). (He's been exclusively bf btw.)
