I am now getting sick of evenings. I am starting to dread them.

They are just a battle. I cant eat as DD is screaming the place down, I cant relax as she is screaming the place down.

She goes to sleep somewhere between 8:45pm and 11:30pm.

DH and I are arguing, we are both exhausted. I am just a perpetual mother and cannot make any plans as DDs sleep pattern has gone completely out of the window.

I am so f**ked off with it all. Nothing is working. I have had enough.

You're not selfish to want some order in your life, some me-time, some couple-time. You need a wind-down just as much as she does.

Pretty - you are a wise lady! Well, we shall work the theory into practice!

Dh has since been into the kitchen twice and forgotten the bloody chocolate tart! I am past it now. Going to bed as Dh is watching footie. Boring, and I am tired, got a long day tomorrow.

I defintely like the idea of quiet time for her in the day. She is on the go for so long, and even before her sleep was disrupted, she would be like gogogogogogogo sleep. Even with her routine, she would not sit still for books for more than 5 mins before 'putting us to bed' and jumping around! Maybe some music would be good for her to learn to calm down better.

marmaduke - trust parents to give you a reality check eh?!

I probably need some of that sometimes, maybe i take it all (myself) too seriously.

Off to bed, will come back on tomorrow to vent again if I need to.

Ok with that?!! Of course you are, this is MN!
