I don’t think anyone will have any tips as all babies are different but writing on here just incase anyone has had similar and can help.
We have a 13 month old, his sleep was non existent up until he was 7 months. Due to reflux, colic, dairy allergy, tongue tie, I think this made it really hard for him to sleep.
7 months old we worked with a sleep consultant and he now sleeps most nights 7/8pm - 5am.
But he will still have awful nights which can last for weeks long. He will wake up between 10/11pm and we cannot get him back to sleep until 5am but only an hour. He will scream until he makes himself sick if we put him in his bed. He will sleep in the car after about half an hour but as soon as you bring him back into the house he will scream again so we spend most the night on the sofa watching TV as that’s the only thing that will chill him out.
I have friends who babies don’t sleep but I don’t know anyone whose baby is up all night.

Has anyone else had anything similar?

Ah that sound so tough 😞 you could get him checked by your GP just in case it's still the allergy or something like that bothering him? It does sound quite extreme that he's awake so much in the night! Does he nap lots during the day to make up for it? He must be exhausted if not.
