Dd gets disorientated at night - is sleeping bag to blame??

Ok so I know we all get disorientated when tired but this is a new thing. Dd is 15 mths and has generally always woken during the night but has been able to settle herself. Recently she has been waking and when I go in to her she is on her front with legs underneath her like she has been sitting up and then just flopped forwards to sleep - trouble is she doesn't seem comfy and therefore wakes up wanting me to help her. Although she has no trouble with mobility during the day and can easily get herself out of this position she doesn't seem to at night. Don't know if the sleeping bag restricts her or if she is just confused as she is usually barely awake. Anyone else had this?

Ok, so no answers for that question but will hijack my own thread by asking what age did people change from sleeping bag to duvet in the cot?

Sorry I dont have any answers but just wanted to say that I'm having exactly the same problem. I have tried duvets and blankets in the cot and dd just keeps sleeping on top of them!

with dd I changed from sleeping bag to lightweight quilt around 18 months when she grew out of her 6-18 month sleeping bag. Ds is still in a sleeping bag at 20 months and seems quite happy with it (I bought 18-36 month bags for him).
