18 month old won't sleep in her cot

My little girl is 18 months old and since turning 1 she will not sleep in her cot. I've always followed the same bedtime routine since she was very little but it seems since moving from a next to me crib to a cot she just doesn't want to sleep. I can put her down at bedtime after rocking her in her pram (used to rock her in my arms but she's too heavy now so resorted to rocking in pram) so when she's fell asleep in her pram I will then transfer her to her cot. Then after few hours she wakes up crying and will only settle back in her pram, then about 5am she seems to be awake and will only settle watching tv in her pram and then she will drop off again after an hour or 2 and then sleep until 9/10, again still in her pram. If I transfer her back to her cot she will just wake up after a little while crying. I just don't like the idea of her being in her pram as she's got such a cosy, comfy bed that she can be in!

I've tried everything including the self soothing method but she works herself up that much she makes herself sick, so I cannot bear to leave her to cry. We are due another baby in October and I really want to get this whole sleeping situation sorted in time for the new arrival.

Any advice or suggestions are extremely welcome!

Move her into a bed. DC1 slept so much better when I did this at 21 months. DC2 is an early riser, so 5am is a normal wake up time for us.
