How did you lengthen the 45 minute nap?

Little one (8 months) is waking on the dot of 45 minutes during daytime naps, and is unable to resettle himself. What worked for you to break this habit? The sleep assossiations of white noise/dark room/dummy are still there so it's not like he's used to being rocked or sung to or something. He goes down ok. Any suggestions? I've tried leaving him but he just ramps up to proper crying.

I never managed it, DD napped for no more than 20mins ever!

How many naps is baby on? As soon as we dropped to 2 naps it stopped

Set an alarm for 35/40'mins and go in so as soon as baby starts stirring you can pat their bum or hold their hand or whatever you do to get them to sleep, sometimes that helps them stitch the sleep cycles together x
