Our 16 month is generally a great sleeper, and whilst she’s never been the easiest to get down for naps bedtime has always been fairly easy.
However, since about mid December we’ve completely lost the ability to get her to sleep either for her nap or bedtime without it being a 2 hour process. We have a routine that we follow, and she doesn’t want to be cuddled, patted etc but screams blue murder if you leave the room.
We’ve tried adjusting the times we put her down, capping her nap, sleep training, white noise etc. but nothing seems to help.
She’s been on one nap for quite a while now as she just wouldn’t fall asleep in the afternoon, and it’s very hit and miss as to whether she naps at nursery (not through their lack of trying though!).
I’m sure it’a a regression and won’t last forever, but any other ideas for things we could try? Feeling completely demoralised by it now
Thanks!
