DS is 14mo and altho' not a great sleeper, has started sleeping better, since I bought him a pillow at 12mo.

It cost £12.99 from mothercare - and the pillowcase was £5.99 - which I thought was expensive for two, until i got it home and realised it was only one!!! - anyway, it really does help, but he's been sick a few times and each time it's out of action his sleep goes down hill.

so, we need a spare or two, but I just can't afford to go out and buy them at that price! - can anybody recommend a good pillow for a baby? TIA.

regular size?

M&S do value washable ones...

Just give him a normal size one....go and test them all at Dunelm/Ikea/John Lewis.

Have you checked ebay?

you don't need a special baby pillow, as long as you get one that isn't too plump. I would avoid feathers too, as well, as polyester is washable, and less allergenic. Cheaper ones will clump if you wash them, though, so it's worth not gong for the super-cheap ones. M+S would be fine, I expect.

Ikea. Cotbed size pillow is 5.99, duvet 8.99 and bedding sets from 5.99.
Although the pillows do go rather flat rather quickly!

i got a tesco value one...£2 i think, because it was so cheap it is quite thin (i guess you dont get too much padding for that price) and its perfect.
