Four week old has slept for 2hrs 15 min since 9am…

He just fights it and fights it, today has definitely been the worst for it. 2 hrs 15 in the last 12 hours can’t be good.

His eyes will close a little but he will fight it, and the slightest disruption or sound will wake him.

He usually only will sleep in our arms but today not even that is working.

How do we make him sleep??

Babywear........ get a ring sling and carry him about in that - at least then you'll hopefully be able to enjoy your day a bit. The first few weeks with a newborn are notoriously tricky. We also put ours in the pram/pushchair and went for endless walks. Hours and hours walking about (cos the moment the wheels stopped baby woke up!)
Eventually I managed to teach mine to sleep on their own which helped massively.
