Only getting 2 hours sleep

I'm a new mum to a 3 week old and I'm currently surviving on about 2 hours sleep a night. Is this normal? How do people cope? I can barely get through each day.

The first two weeks was horrific but it got much better after that. Was the baby full term? Are they gaining well? If so, feeding every one to two hours is a lot by this point; are they definitely hungry? If you can express (I used to do it first thing in the morning from one boob before feeding from the other), you can see how much they are taking for a few feeds. Expressing will also help get your supply up.
