Right - so tonight proved that I am absolutely too much of a wimp to do sleep training which involves leaving ds to cry so....

HEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLP MEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

We've been doing No Cry Sleep Solution and I've managed to stop ds nursing to sleep. So he now nurses, then rolls off and falls asleep. But he won't be moved into his own bed and Elizabeth Pantley is strangely silent on what to do when your child wakes up in the night!!

i feel like i might die of tired.

no - i totally agree lillee, i think in some ways that's why he was so upset last night, he was poorly and in pain and i didn't realise i think that's why i'm unwilling to try it again.

Urban i haven't used that specific technique for putting ds down, didn't use a book just kinda went with him. Doesn't make me any better or worse though just easier for us i think. Honestly there are times when mine is sooooo demanding and others when he's great but definitely wants me there almost constantly if he's out of sorts. My ds is same age as yours. Think i said on the other one that i had feared the wee fella was turning into a bit of a brat then realised after the fact that he was in fact not well.

On this subject all i can say is trust your instinct. The jabs can put them out of sorts anyway all that nonsense going through their bodies.

Like i said though, the tiredness does take its toll and i totally know what you are saying with that one. All you want is a bit of time to yourself to wind down and then go for a decent night's sleep, know that feeling well and i'm sure i'll experience it loads more times too!
