Sleep deprived because toddler won’t sleep

My 2 year old DS (2 years and 4 months) has never slept through the night and it is nerve wracking for me as I am sleep deprived and constantly tired which is affecting my work and quality of life in general. When I tuck him in bed at night, he sleeps for 3-4 hours wakes up and finds his way to my bed wanting to cuddle and that’s my sleep gone for the night.
Please has anyone experienced this or know what I can do. Please help!

When he comes in do you not both go back to sleep in your bed or are you taking him back.

Can you go to bed when he does for a couple of nights each week to top up?

Does he not go back to sleep in your bed? If you have a partner, I'd take it in turns to handle this.

Some people put the toddler bed in their room to avoid the waking.

Yes. My three year old has never slept through either. I bought a king size bed so that I can just carry on sleeping at the point where they climb into my bed in the night. Move your furniture into their room if you need the space for the bigger bed.

For mine I also put a cot mattress on the the floor next the bed they just used to come in and go straight to sleep. They all grow out of it in the end.
