I'm currently pregnant and thinking about sleep arrangements. For the night I'm going to get a bedside crib (my rooms is small so can't fit a full sized crib) but it would be nice to hear what people put their baby to sleep in during the day when they are downstairs with you. Thanks

Carrycot from the pram or baby box (we're in Scotland). Some people use a moses basket.

The sling, mainly.
Because attached to me was the only way he didn't scream.

Moses basket or pram carrycot. We used a Moses basket for our first and will be doing the same for our second. They don't last long (about 3 months for our first but that'll vary) but you can get decent secondhand ones.

We used the pram in the hallway alot! Had a moses basket but found it was outgrown within 4 months. Whereas the pram was perfect!

Moses basket then cot

Thanks for your messages so far. I'm trying to resist buying a Moses basket, mainly because I'm aware how quickly the baby will grow out of it.

My eldest slept in a sleepyhead during the day (which are no longer recommended but this was 8 years ago). My littlest (who is 3 weeks old) will only sleep on me, night or day. Moses basket has been barely used.
