mine has had afternoons like that. But, I try and get him into bed early, and he is in such a FOUL mood, having so many tantrums, it is inevitably 7pm anyway by the time he's in bed(!)

Actually, last night he was awake in his room playing and making all sorts of noises (and keeping 4mth old DS2 up!!) til about 10pm!! I had mistakenly let him nap for half an hour from 4 til 4.30pm. BIG mistake. Should sleep well tonight though.

tulip - i was going to let ds have a nap for 20 minutes but then thought better!!

7.10pm here now, and still plenty of commotion going on. DH putting DS1 to be bed- I am hiding. I think it must be all the spring sunshine. He is just NOT tired.

At least he stays upstairs though when he's like this, and generally does not bother us drinking too much wine in the living room

nappyaddict, hope your DS makes it til bedtime!

he's in bed already! couldn't have stretched him out any longer. it was an ordeal getting him to 6.

nappyaddict - does your ds have a lunchtime nap?

ruddynorah · 11/04/2008 21:02

dd is 22 months. she doesn't nap anymore. bedtime starts at 5.30 pm. dh takes her up for half hour play and stories. i take milk up and say goodnight at 6. she then drinks her cup of milk and asks daddy to put her in her cot by about 6.30. that's it until about 8am the next day.

bergentulip · 11/04/2008 21:05

Not bad, ruddynorah!

nappyaddict · 12/04/2008 18:51
