Baby won’t settle for his dad

Hello,
Quick question for the mums out there or the person who puts baby to sleep every night.
My baby will absolutely not settle for my partner, in the day he will take bottles from his Dad but hates him trying to get him to bed. He’ll only drink half his bottle then demonically scream/cry for him until his basically wears himself out and falls asleep from crying so much.
Does anyone have any suggestions apart from just keep getting him to do it as much as he can because I just feel so sorry for our baby and a little for him as well I suppose 😂.

Your partner to wear a worn / dirty top of urs while feeding baby can help
Or hold a worn top of urs near baby.
Its a comfort thing for baby

Our daughter went through a phase where she would only settle for me, this lasted about three months and carried on while I was back at work. She’d take her bottle, settle for naps etc for her Papa, but just wouldn’t at night, we just carried on doing it together and slowly increasing him doing more of the routine with me there until we eventually cracked it. She’s now 2.5 and refuses to settle for me at the minute.

Thank you all, I did go out the other week and it took him 3 hours 😵‍💫 but he says he will keep trying but it is so distressing for me to hear but sometimes I don’t really want to go out when I’m in my pjs 😂 I just feel sorry for our son getting so upset but if I’m not alone in this happening I do feel a bit better.
