What to wear for daytime naps...

We have a 2.5 tog sleeping bag, and our room is 19 degrees on average.

For nighttime, baby (2.5 mo) is comfortable in sleepsuit-no-vest.

In the day vest+sleepsuit is what she wears most of the time as it's comfy for her. BUT if she napped with two layers and her sleeping bag, I think she'd be too hot - but I don't want to change her clothes for every nap. What do I do?

(Point of information: up till now she's been sleeping in one of those arms-up swaddle bags which is less than 2.5 togs and has been wearing vest+sleepsuit underneath day and night. Want to swap to other sleeping bag as she has started sucking her fist and I don't want to prevent her in case it helps her sleep.)

Could you get a lighter tog sleeping bag for daytime sleeps?

Lighter tog sleeping bag?

usually I’d just use a very small holes blanket or the lightweight cosy toes because I’d usually be close by and they’d usually be in their pushchair after a walk.

A lighter tog sleeping bag seems the most obvious answer and is what we used.

She’ll be fine in vest, sleep suit and sleeping bag during the day

don’t overthink the layers. It’s so easy to become obsessive over the temp on the groegg etc but she’ll be fine, it’s just a guide and the extra layer really won’t make much difference

I didn't sleep well last night and definitely thought this meant adult day time naps Blush

Lighter tog sleeping bag, which you'll get use out of when (if?!) it gets warmer at night. Vinted are great for sleeping bags.

I just use a cellular blanket with whatever baby is wearing for naps.
It's then easy to take off if baby is too hot (or add to for the reverse).

I also don't want a dependency on sleep bags for naps (I do use one at night).

I think she’d be fine in vest, sleep suit and 2.5 tog bag at 19 degrees. That’s what mine (although a toddler!) is wearing.
