20 month refusal to sleep in own room after trip away

My DD has slept in quite a few different places over the last month, travelling in USA. She has taken to sleeping well, and has shared a room with us. Has not been phased by sleeping in different cots, in different places, and has even been ok with the jetlag.

We came home yesterday and she went to sleep in her own cot fine, woke up two hours later, we guessed due to jet lag, had her up for hour and she asked to go to bed, bu would not go to sleep in her own bed.

WE put her in our travel cot in our room, and she went straight to sleep, slept until 8am, asked for milk, back to sleep until 10:30am!!! So did we, she has had about 14 hours sleep, but has missed quite a bit due to travelling so good to catch up.

However, she is now due a sleep, asked for milk, got excited at the travel cot, and is now in her cot screaming, saying 'in there' over and over, meaning the other cot.

Any ideas on how to get her back into her own room?

she is now no longer crying, she is 'putting dolly to bed' talking to her, telling her to shh sleep, covering her and uncovering her with blanket, tapping her bottom, very very sweet. I poked my head in quietly and dont think she saw me.

I shall leave and hope she sleeps, if not, least she seems happier in her own room again, for now...
